Hi. My name is Rita Wilhelm, and I am the founder of PetBoogaloo.com .

I considered writing a typical 'About Us' type of page for this website with the usual "About Us' information in it. But... instead I thought I'd write something a little more heartfelt.

PetBoogaloo is here to make a difference in this world.

PetBoogaloo is:

1) A place where people can come and feel good. It's a place where you can have fun, laugh, and enjoy your pet with other like-minded pet lovers from around the world.

We as a world are exposed to a lot of violence, tragedies, and constant 'bad news', which then becomes part of our collective consciousness. I've gotten to the point where I don't even want to open up the newspaper. I rarely watch the news. I believe that if people spend more time on 'happy things', such as enjoying the love of animals and sharing the love of animals with other like-minded people, we help to create a 'feel good' atmosphere, that impacts the collective consciousness of this world. Think about how Gandhi, Oprah, and Dr. Wayne Dyer have impacted the way people think. Now our pets have a chance to make a difference too.

2) All inclusive. We invite our worldwide friends to come and join in the fun. The more we get to know our friends on the other side of the world, the more peaceful our planet becomes. For the PetBoogaloo, we are all like-minded people, that share the love of pets.

3) A support to animal and environmental causes. We will be focusing on specific animal and environmental causes, and will be working closely with charities that support these causes.

Together with our pets, we can help change the world.
